1. The agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Soryx Data Protection Ltd, a company established in Ireland (“Soryx”). By creating an account or using the service you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Soryx.
2. What Soryx does
Soryx scans data brokers and breach sources for your personal information and, on your authority, sends erasure and opt-out requests on your behalf - principally exercising your right to erasure under Article 17 GDPR. We act as your agent in submitting those requests.
3. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use Soryx.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You authorise Soryx to act as your agent in submitting removal and erasure requests to third parties on your behalf.
4. Plans, billing & cancellation
- Soryx offers a free tier and paid subscriptions (Individual, Premium, Family, and Business). Current prices are shown on our pricing page.
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Payments are processed by our payments subprocessor, Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record.
- EU/EEA consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting a scan or removal during this period you may ask us to begin immediately; where the service is fully performed, the right of withdrawal may no longer apply.
5. Acceptable use
Your use of Soryx is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: use Soryx only for your own data or data you are authorised to manage, and do not attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
6. What we can and cannot promise
We pursue removals diligently, but the outcome depends on third parties (data brokers and their legal obligations). We therefore cannot guarantee that every record will be removed, or that removed records will not later reappear from new sources. We will keep monitoring and re-submitting requests within your plan.
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soryx is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, or €100 - except where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Suspension & termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or where required by law. On termination we will delete your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction, save that consumers may also bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence and benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection laws there.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
